How Much Should I Feed My Husky?
Huskies eat less than other breeds, since are bred to be working dogs in the northern region. This means their bodies are made to consume less food, yet efficiently burn calories for nutrients and energy.
Feeding Schedule
Puppies should be eating 3-4 times a day. Not everyone has the ability to feed their puppies throughout the day, so at minimum they should be eating at least twice a day until they are about 1 year old.
If you plan on exercising your dog, wait at least 1 hour before feeding, or wait at least 2 hours after eating to exercise.
Keeping your husky on a regular feeding schedule will also help you keep better track of their health and potty routine.
Foods to Eat
Huskies are known to be food beggars; if you feed them food from the table once, expect to never have a full meal again.
