Some dogs win you over immediately.
Others take a little time.
Obi is the second kind.
He isn't the dog who walks into a room assuming everyone is his best friend. In fact, new people can make him a little uncertain. When faced with unfamiliar situations or strangers he doesn't recognize, Obi tends to become reserved and cautious while he takes the time to process his surroundings.
But once he knows you?
Everything changes.
Behind that cautious exterior is a sweet, affectionate, and deeply loyal dog who forms meaningful bonds with the people he trusts. He doesn't hand out his friendship freely, which makes earning it all the more rewarding.
Obi's Story
Confidence is something that can be rebuilt.
Obi was previously placed in a home, but unfortunately his training, socialization, and confidence-building routines were not maintained after leaving our kennel. Over time, he lost much of the confidence he once had and began shutting down in unfamiliar situations.
Today, Obi is back with us and actively working through a rehabilitation program focused on rebuilding his confidence, social skills, and trust in the world around him.
The good news?
We're already seeing the dog we remember starting to shine through again.
With patience, structure, and continued positive experiences, Obi continues to make progress every day.

Obi is often described as a near clone of his father, AKC Grand Champion Trinacria's Black Tornado "Tornade." From his beautiful black and white coat to his overall expression and outline, the family resemblance is unmistakable.

His rich black and white coat gleams in the sunlight and stands out beautifully wherever he goes. Combined with his athletic build and elegant movement, Obi is a dog that naturally draws attention.
Motivated and eager to work
Like many well-bred Siberian Huskies, Obi enjoys having a job to do. He responds well to positive reinforcement, enjoys training sessions, and thrives when given structure and purpose.

His daily work focuses on structure, social confidence, and positive experiences that help him remember the capable dog he can be.
